Specialization: Vitreo-Retina & Cataract

Dr Anurag Shandil, Is the founder and Chief Eye Surgeon of Narayana Nethradhama, Janakpuri’s Super speciality Eye Care and Retina Centre. He received his MBBS from Indra Gandhi Medical College in Shimla and his MS in Ophthalmology from Lady Harding Medical College in New Delhi. He then spent three years as a senior resident at the Vitreo-retina and Cataract unit of the Department of Ophthalmology at LHMC in New Delhi. Following that, he had further training in Vitreo-retina and ocular oncology at Sankara Eye Hospital. He received his surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the International Council of Ophthalmologists Fellowship (FICO, UK). He is an exceptional surgeon and physician passionate about his work and believes in compassion and a holistic approach to the patient. With over a decade of experience, he is a retina and cataract surgery expert. Diabetic retinopathy, prematurity retinopathy, central retinal artery blockage, and micro-incision vitreoretinal surgery are all areas of study.
