Before being an integral part of Narayana Nethradhama she worked as a Senior Resident at the department of Anaesthesiology, LHMC, New Delhi. She is a certified ACLS care provider and has been presenting her work through various CMEs and meetings. She is an active member of IMA- EDB
Ophthalmic surgery is very important common procedures that require anesthesia. Objective of anesthesia during eye surgery should focus on patient’s pain-free experience and safety. Ocular include local anesthetic options such as topical, sub-Tenon’s, peribulbar and retrobulbar techniques as well as general anesthesia.
